Start with everyday use
A dining table gathers people, a desk supports focused work and a coffee table must fit seating and circulation. Define the daily task before choosing a timber or finish.
Photographs, a simple floor plan and chair measurements provide a better brief than a target length alone. They reveal routes, doors and the space required around the finished piece.
Timber, dimensions and construction
Oak often has warm, pronounced grain, while ash can appear lighter. Natural variation, knots and colour belong to the selected plank and cannot be reproduced exactly from a reference image.
Length, width, edge, surface and base influence one another. A one-plank top gives uninterrupted grain, but available dimensions follow the tree; wider solutions may require another construction.
From conversation to finished table
The process covers the room, required seats, plank selection, edge, finish and base. Each detail is agreed before production, and the written quotation confirms price and delivery.
The workshop and showroom are in Odense, Denmark, and visits are by appointment. For international projects, transport, installation, taxes and import requirements must be confirmed separately.
